Varian SpectrAA 220FS Spectrometer FLAME AA with Varian SIPS-10 Sample Introduction Pump System with Varian SPS-5 Sample Preparation System with system software refurbished
Varian SpectrAA 220FS Spectrometer FLAME AA, used very nice, tested and working- actual results attached
Refurbished, tested and working by Varian trained technician
-fully automated double beam system with Fast Sequential operation for improved productivity. Enhanced capabilities, including full PC control and automated operation as standard. The SpectrAA 220 optics feature four lamp positions with automated wavelength and slit selection, and high intensity deuterium background correction as standard. Lamps are mounted in fixed positions, and a rotating mirror is used to select the operating lamp, eliminating the need for a conventional turret. For maximum stability in an automated sequence, a software controlled next-lamp warm up facility is provided.
-Conventional AA systems still determine one element at a time, repeating all samples for each element in turn. SpectrAA-220 FS provides complete results for each sample in minutes.
Actual data ran on this system for 4 elements attached.
It should be noted that due to the SIPS accessory, and autosampler, the run only took 10 minutes to calibrate the 4 elements and run 3 samples

Varian SIPS-10 Sample Introduction Pump System
Sample Introduction Pump System (SIPS) is an innovative sample introduction and dilution system for flame AA that eliminates the task of multiple standard preparation and provides fast, accurate on-line dilution of over-range samples.
The single pump SIPS 10
The SIPS 10 or 20 can be used on all PC-controlled Varian AA instruments in the current range. The SpectrAA 50 and 55 without PC can be fitted with the SIPS 10 only.
No tedious, multiple standard preparation. Performs online multi point calibration from a single standard
Fast, online dilution of over range samples
No costly, time consuming manual dilution and re-analysis
Enhances accuracy and precision with < 2% error - no more dilution errors
